menshealth_premature_ignitionThe simplest and easiest advice includes:

1. Make love a second and third time.

2. Have a few drinks.

3. Change love-making positions.

4. Grow older!

Premming happens because a man cannot recognize he is nearing ejaculation and cannot act in order to delay his orgasm. It is due to lack of appropriate focus, nothing else. If the condition causes misery, act now to overcome it. Once premming becomes entrenched, there is a risk the unconscious steps in and creates psychologic impotence to avoid the pain of future premming.

Before starting the program, practice stopping urine flow in mid-stream. Focus on the sensations felt. Re-start the flow, then stop again. Squeeze the muscles of the back passage tight. Focus again. Become familiar with focusing on all these sensations. Continue to learn proper focus during the following exercises. Ask these two simple questions: Do I, or don’t I, recognize the signs when I am coming? What sensations must I focus on to learn proper control?

The answers can be gained from solitary masturbation. Allow for plenty of time and privacy. Focus solely and totally on the task. Believe that control can be learned. Expect some degree of failure at first. Above all, give top priority to the exercises.

1. Become erect and highly aroused. Focus on the sensations deep within the pelvis before the crucial pre-emission stage. Once this stage is recognized, use the squeeze technique. Two fingers on the frenulum, thumb opposite at the corona-and squeeze, squeeze hard. Not only will the urge to ejaculate stop, but the erection itself may disappear.

2. If this fails and ejaculation occurs, the squeezing was not hard enough, or lacked real intent. Avoid being downcast. Allow for refractory time, or wait until later, and repeat the entire exercise again. Then continue as below.

3. Again, stimulate the penis to reach pre-emission. Stop, and repeat the squeeze technique. Use this “stop start” method five times, then ejaculate. Practice makes perfect. Repeat, over some days, weeks or months until full control is achieved. It is about unlearning fear of failure, so it may take some while.

4. A man may insist he is focusing, which he usually is. But the focus is in the wrong place. It is on the negative learning problem – the knowledge of having failed so often he is bound to fail again. Which he then does, which reinforces the condition.

5. Men used to be told to distract their minds from feelings of imminent ejaculation by focusing on money or work. This is a mistake. Focus must be solely and totally on the deep physical sensations. Once these are familiar, the focus then becomes when to control them – and nothing else.
